Welcoming winter blooms in mild February

A mild winter with above-average temperatures means some plants have continued to bloom in the garden this February.

White lantana has not gone dormant this year and is covered with blooms this week.

Driveway Landscaping Completed

Garden Bloggers Bloom Day - December 2011

It's been raining for a week here so these are somewhat soggy blooms, but we can't complain about the rain.  There have been a couple of frosty nights, but no hard freeze yet.

When landscaping you hope your "after" photos look better than the "before" photos.  It did not work out that way this year.
