Wordless Wednesday: Camouflage

  1. Ha ha...just the presumed-owner of your gardener out for a walk! They hide really well...I can only imagine with the color of our granite boulders, how many times I've been spied at home or on rides, and I never noticed the big cat looking down...

    1. Yes, most animals are good at it. I'm thinking deer sausage since last night a buck shredded my new palm tree.

  3. What kind of camo did YOU wear to get a great shot like that?

    1. No camo needed, the deer are quite used to me and rarely react. I used a long lens and did not get very close. A buck can be dangerous this time of year. They are not exactly tame regardless of how it appears.

  4. That's a good demonstration of how difficult it is to spot wild animals sometimes, but oh no -- not your new palm! I hope there was not too much damage. Last night a deer decided to rub the velvet off his his horns by using my plumeria in the front yard. He broke one stem and knocked off half the bark. With all the saplings in the woods why do they come into our yards to do it? I wonder if it is sort of a mark their territory, or "I'll show you who's boss" thing.
