Twelve Days of Foxes and a Happy New Year!

While considering what I might post for Twelve Days of Christmas my attention turned to the tree in the living room.  It is 12 feet tall but that probably doesn't count.

The theme of the tree is "Foxes and Grapes" borrowed from Aesop's Fables, as well as our name, of course.

Posting one fox a day for twelve days doesn't quite work so I'll post 12 photos in honor of the 12 Days of Christmas.  I'm posting my favorites for one last look at the holidays before we pack it up for two years because we alternate themes every other year.  We have over 100 fox theme ornaments.  I'm often asked where I found all of these.  I've been collecting them for more than 30 years and lately I find most of them on Ebay.

These two were special gifts from my sister in Houston.  They are blown glass as are most of these.

I can't pick just one favorite, but this one by Jay Strongwater is a contender.

I have a few more too.  Most of these are Radko and were purchased on Ebay.

This is what Mr. Fox will be doing tomorrow.

Can't have a "Fox and Grapes" tree without the fox and grapes.

This charming couple were early acquisitions and have been around for nearly 30 years.

Fox golfer, can't believe I found this one.  Ebay of course!

This fox has brought out the champagne to wish you a Happy New Year!

Happy New Year from the Foxes!

    1. It has been fun seeking them out. My husband's family collected foxes too so I got the idea from them originally.
