Return to Yeya's

It's been a while since we visited Yeya's,  one of my favorite places to hunt for garden junk.  With the weather a bit cool and wet for gardening it's a good time to add to the collection for the coming gardening season and take you on another tour.

I haven't shown you what's new for a while but doesn't mean I have been shopping Yeya's!  A cool cloudy day is the best time to visit and take photos because it can get very hot out here in the sun.

So what's new at Yeya's besides that bright pink wall?  Here are just a few of the things I found last week when I visited.


Iron baby bed

Faux bois always a favorite and this birdbath with planter is fabulous.

Another customer was seriously considering this yellow industrial cart at a fraction of the Restoration Hardware price.

Birdbath base studded with local karst stones.

Loved the piece of iron work next to it.  Another great faux bois birdbath behind the urn and plinth.

Need to get a closer look at that galvanized tank with the dent.  Nice thick steel and the patina is great.  I'm thinking that dent can be popped out, turned to the back or called "character".

These galvanized rings are waiting to be planted up with agaves.

Z for Zorro would be very cool for my garden.  (In Spanish, look it up here.)

Totally missed that "S" back by the wood doors until I saw the photo.

Great color on the vintage pink screen door. Pink and red for your valentine, just a little work and it would be good to go.  The piece in the foreground is a concrete statue mold of a woman holding a water vessel.

Table legs for future projects.

Mario has extra pieces of old glass available to fill in the empty panes on these window frames.

Always check out the selection of succulents currently displayed indoors in case of a freeze.

The variety is endless and always different.  Nice hood ornaments.

How about heart-shaped stepping stones for your Valentine?

So what did I get?  That tank headed home with me along with a couple of vintage wire hanging baskets.
