Squirrel Appreciation Day - January 21, 2012

Yesterday was Squirrel Appreciation Day!  When I read about it on Facebook a few minutes ago, I knew just what to do.  Better late than never.  It's the perfect time for a sequel to the first jumping Squirrel slideshow!  The (bleep) Picasa wouldn't create a slideshow today so kindly click here.

    Wow--great shot! Little squirts! I love to watch squirrels flip and fly around the trees, shrubs, roof, etc.

    Great series of photos. It was fall when I cleared off my front yard for a prairie garden. After turning the soil and adding a few amendments, it was nice and fluffy. The fuzzy tailed rats took advantage of the soft soil and planted a huge crop of acorns and pecans. I pulled little oak and pecan trees all through the following year.
