They've done a great job with the landscaping. The animals look like they're happy there, too. I think that plant you were asking about is Moses in the Bullrushes (Tradescantia spathacea). We grow it as a houseplant here in the north, but my mom planted a nice patch of it outside her house in Florida. Fun plant!Beth at PlantPostingshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10473637655960119672noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6808857981868159973.post-46051796657062452742016-12-22T16:01:24.801-06:002016-12-22T16:01:24.801-06:00I wonder if our zoo has picked up on the horticult...I wonder if our zoo has picked up on the horticultural trend...will have to visit to find out. I think it's wonderful that your zoo has a childcare facility on site - that's a brilliant idea other zoos should emulate. Your post is a good reminder that I need to drag my husband to the LA and/or San Diego Zoo this winter to see what's going on.Kris Petersonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07097260283693156795noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6808857981868159973.post-84860046223149933402016-12-21T18:10:31.789-06:002016-12-21T18:10:31.789-06:00Our zoo here in Tacoma is interesting horticultura...Our zoo here in Tacoma is interesting horticulturally too.
